Marla Green began her career as a 6th grade teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Principal of Coweeman Middle School in Kelso, Washington. She has a Bachelors in Education from Washington State University and a Masters from Walden University. After teaching for 15 years, she earned her administrative certificate in Educational Leadership from Seattle University. Mrs. Green says one of the accomplishments she is most proud of is building systems and a strong team that supported Coweeman students and families during the pandemic, in-person and virtually. When Mrs. Green is not at work, she enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors with family and friends. She is looking forward to getting to know the staff, students, and their families who make Terrace Heights Elementary amazing! She states, “it’s an honor to be serving this community.”
