What is cooperative teaching?

Cooperative teaching is a method of teaching in which multiple teachers share students with the intention of providing students with the best instruction possible.

What to expect?

Mrs. Strother will teach math and science in her classroom and Miss Engquist will teach ELA in her classroom. Your child will have a home classroom. Your child’s home classroom is the teacher they were assigned at the end of third grade. Students will travel between classrooms to receive instruction. Conferences will be held with your child’s home teacher. However, please feel free to contact either teacher depending on the content of the question. Refer math/science questions to Mrs. Strother and ELA questions to Miss Engquist. Your child has TWO teachers who are dedicated to his or her learning and well being.
